Ophir Coins Jewelry & Gold Livingston, NJ
Our Essex County counter sits on the Livingston–West Orange side of the county, which puts most of the Oranges, the Caldwells and the Millburn area within a short drive. It is our only North Jersey coin store, and the busiest of the three for estate work, largely because so much of the surrounding housing stock has been in the same families for decades.
For coin collectors, the senior numismatist here is a PCGS-recognized grader, so graded and raw coins can be assessed properly on the counter. The store is also a gold and silver buyer for everything else — scrap, jewelry, bullion and sterling flatware — and pays the same day, in cash or by wire.
Everything is tested on the counter while you watch. Bring photo ID — New Jersey requires it for any precious metals purchase, and we cannot complete a transaction without it.
